I have been in private practice as a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) since 1997, specializing in the treatment of adolescents and adults. Areas of clinical focus include depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADD/ADHD, adjustment disorder, couples counseling, grief counseling, and career/life transition issues. My home-based office provides clients with a comfortable environment. Tele-mental health service is also available. Additional information may be found on this website under Therapeutic Approach and Contact Me.
I graduated from Rutgers University's School of Social Work with clinical internships at Greystone Park Psychiatric Hospital and E. T. Dutton Counseling Center of St. Clare’s Hospital. I am licensed in the State of New Jersey as an LCSW to provide mental health services. In addition to my private practice, I serve on corporate Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) in northern New Jersey. After 9/1I, I provided crisis counseling to employees a Fortune 500 international corporation which suffered a loss of over 300 individuals. I also have served on the Executive Board of the National Association of Social Workers – New Jersey Chapter.
Recently, I retired from the County College of Morris, where in addition to admissions counseling, I taught courses in psychology and learning strategies. Lastly, I worked in both the public sector, i.e., Morris County Superior Court as probation officer and Director of Volunteer Services, and the private sector designing/implementing staff development initiatives. .
